Concert and Program Booking

The Friends of the Bedford Public Library, Inc. host an on-going concert series with 12-15 excellent quality concerts each year. The concerts are held in the Bedford Room of Bedford Central Library which seats 100 people in a 30' by 40' room. An 8 ' by 10' stage and lighting create a performance space for musicians. Performers are guaranteed a pre-arranged fee.

The acoustics and sound quality of the room are outstanding and some performers play without amplification. We prefer that performers bring their own sound system and be responsible for adjusting it. We do have a small sound system and would be willing to have it available for performers' use. We can't act as sound technicians but can help to set it up.
